You'll also spot the unusual criss-cross beams synonymous with Lisbon's Pombaline architectural style. At the same time, it's been smartly modernized in bright whites, creating a cool and contemporary feel. There's a well-equipped kitchen (although you happen to be within walking distance of many excellent restaurants) and a stylish, minimal shower room. Located in the upscale hills of Lapa, you'll be slightly further from Praça do Comércio, but you'll be staying right on Rua São Bento – famous for antique shopping.
