Dated accommodation photos shown when booking give a distorted picture. Swimming pool closed twice a week for maintenance, was not in the description View nothing to see, 4 meters visibility, definitely not a Tuscan feeling, after 2 days you are fed up with that. A lot of overdue maintenance, especially sanitary facilities, you could not switch the outdoor lighting at the accommodation on/off yourself. Host/hostess not hospitable, rather [contact disturbed] Accommodation needs a lot of love and attention.

The house was very old and smelled musty, it was dark and not cozy at all. The bed our son had to sleep in was a folding bed with far too soft springs and a thin mattress where you could feel the springs through. The bedding smelled old. The area the house was in was very old and the view from our bedroom was a dilapidated shed. We had booked 7 nights but only stayed 12 hours as we immediately booked something else.

Supposedly this property was fantastic 20 years ago but seems poorly maintained ever since. The furniture was old and worn, the house poorly lit, the beds very hard, the toilet clogged, the wifi mediocre, the pool a bit dirty and the garden neglected. Not a disaster in itself, but all in all I would not recommend this accommodation, especially not for this price. Pros: Good location in hard of Tuscany and friendly owner.

Located near Empoli, the small apartment offers everything you need. beds are good. WLAN is bad + dead zone. Parking a bit small. Mosquitoes abound Autan should be there. pool is good Landlords are very nice. All very well.

The big positives are the pool and the quiet. On the other hand, the announcement specifies wifi or it depends on where you are and must surely be cut at the end of the day. The apartment is extremely dark and sad. Several power cuts in 2 weeks and we have to travel 3kms to have a telephone network. Notice to people sensitive to mosquito bites: there are plenty of them (about forty bites in 2 weeks). Conclusion: I would not return.
