But in this apartment, you can see one of the city's most iconic sights from your own window. Less than a minute from the Piazza della Signoria, this home sets the tone for the holiday ahead.

Let’s start in the living space, where antique pieces dominate its authentic and original interiors. Here you'll find decorative wooden chairs, upholstered with soft fabrics to match the plush curtains and sofa. It’s the exact sort of space where you’d read an ancient tome while reclining on an armchair, or pen a poem at the writer’s desk. And if you’re in need of any inspiration, the breathtaking view of Palazzo Vecchio is framed beautifully in your window.

After a midnight glass of primitivo and a bowl of olives on the grand, hardwood dining table, end the night in the majestic main bedroom. We love the wall hanging and iron bedframe – it’s vintage touches like these that really make you feel as though you’re living in Florence of old.
