Palazzo Pitti, Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria – nearly all the landmarks are within walking distance. Aside from location, the design back home is nothing to scoff at. The living space is sleek and comfortable (albeit a tad snug), while the contemporary kitchen is just the right size to rustle up quick bites. A single bedroom doubles as a study, too – ideal if you're in town for work.
