Wake up with the city at your feet in this cosy Florentine hideaway, perfectly placed for exploring the art, history and charm of the Tuscan capital. The interiors are modern and pared back, with everything you need for a comfy stay, plus a tiny kitchenette – best for light bites and breakfasts rather than full meals. Outside, a petite courtyard offers a breath of fresh air between gallery visits and gelato stops. Whether you're strolling to the Duomo or browsing local boutiques, we think this a great little pied-à-terre for a short Florentine escape.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area. Though there's enough bed space for four people here, we think it might feel a little cramped. We'd recommend a maximum guest count of two.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*If you’re arriving after 6:00 PM, we kindly ask you to send us a copy of a valid ID for each guest in advance, so we can streamline the check-in process and make your arrival as smooth as possible.
*The wi-fi can be temperamental here. It might be worth bringing a personal hotspot device with you if you know you'll need to access the internet.
