You’ll find this top floor apartment in Florence’s ultra-cool San Frediano neighbourhood. Inside, the living area is soothing yet chic with its soft blues and light greys. We love how the modern art deco chairs, brimming bookcase, antique mirrors and crystal chandeliers slot right in amongst the terracotta tiled floors and high beamed ceilings. Views of Florence are framed by the windows, sitting on the walls like works of art – you can find similar masterpieces in the Palazzo Pitti just across the road. If you can sacrifice a lie in – a hard decision to make with beds this comfy – Florence’s headline landmarks are mere minutes from your apartment. And that’s not to mention the eight Michelin-starred restaurants dotted about the city. Before dusk falls, head home to your roof terrace with a bottle of something fizzy. The panoramic views of the city beneath a pastel sky are certainly something to write home about.
