If you're after a comfortable and convenient stay, this one's for you. And, while size may not be this studio's strong point, it has lots going for it, including views over the rooftops of Florence and a compact kitchenette for prepping light bites. The building also features a lounge, chef's kitchen and mini gym for its residents, making this quite an appealing proposition for those who want a simple drop-your-bags-and-go type place with a few added extras for good measure.

Home truths:
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb three flights of stairs to reach the entrance of the home. There are also four steps leading to the bedroom area.
*You won't find an oven in the studio – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*You'll have access to the chef’s kitchen, a lounge and mini-gym here. They're shared with the building's other residents.
