Sitting pretty on a sweeping lawn outside the ancient city of Lucca, this historic villa embraces its roots. Between frescoed walls and antique furniture, the home's traditional style might not be for everyone. Still, it's bright and comfortable, with plenty of space for large groups. The surrounding fruit trees and olive groves will make a beautiful backdrop to birthday dinners or small ceremonies. You can speak to your host to learn more about events hosted here. Throw a swimming pool, fitness room, daily cleaning and a private chef into the mix, and you can see why we added this one to the collection.

*There’s free parking on the driveway. You'll also find a helicopter pad available.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing kids, they'll need to be supervised at all times. If you are travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*There are stairs to climb here.
*The twin bedroom can be arranged into a double, with prior notice.
*You'll find concierge and additional cleaning included so you have less to worry about. The cleaning services will take place six days per week.
*The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste.
