The house, which needs renovation, was cold and damp when we arrived. The heating wasn't working when we arrived. We were given a few bags of wood for the small fireplace, but it took several days until the house was somewhat warm and we could sit in the living room without thick blankets and sweaters. The heating was too small for this time of year.
