Domaine de Vertmarines

Hello, We stayed from August 24 to 31. We had doubts about the quality of the accommodation when reading the reviews on the internet....we also had our share of disappointments. Musty and damp smell throughout the house... daily ventilation and aerosols did not change anything. House with questionable hygiene, not maintained, dust and cobwebs and spiders everywhere. No cleaning is done. Old, worn and outdated furniture. Incompetent manager

This is the 4th time in 20 years we have been to this location. Each time the accommodation deteriorates. Poor maintenance, poor communication and a downright dirty stay. The following issues stood out: - Very dirty garden furniture that is absolutely not inviting to sit on the terrace - Weeds through the terrace stones - Grass areas (full of weeds) were only mowed on the last day of our stay. - 30% of the pool's edging stones are loose (safety?) Partly very sloppily repaired - ....

In June, it is calm and pleasant. The people at the reception are very helpful and professional. The swimming pool can be heated but the cost is not indicated in the additional services offered on the Interhome website; on the other hand we did not pay anything for our dog. Overall it was a really great vacation!
