We've never paid so much for a vacation home before. This house, however, was the least comfortable we've ever had. A very unfriendly welcome. The house wasn't cleaned properly. The beds weren't made, and there weren't enough linens to do it ourselves. The house was very noisy. Doors didn't close properly, causing constant banging. The front door was difficult to open due to subsidence. Showering in a bathtub with no partition, so the bathroom was wet. The house was brand new, but finished very cheaply.
