The garden is much more of an asset to the cottage than the adverts .... The garden is much more of an asset to the cottage than the adverts suggest;large, child and dog friendly and very private - great space to relax when the weather was so good

Quist is a very relaxing place to stay.. It feels like a home . Not pretentious or anything like that. The stone floor is a joy for dog owners and easily swept. My husband was overjoyed to find a really good selection of books. He refused to come out with us on one day because he was stuck into Bring on the Empty Horses by Niven and wanted to finish it. He said that it was lovely to relax on his own. I hope we can stay again there. Yours, Jo Franks

Quist Cottage was charming, a sweet, well situated cottage in a lovely village.. The facilities were very good and the house was very well equipped. The only slight problem was my sister and brother in law found the small double and single bed mattresses uncomfortable. Our double bed was fine, on complaints from us. The information regarding things to do and see were comprehensive and the local pub and fish and chips on a Wednesday were second to non, the pub was full of life with friendly people to chat to. Our dogs loved the holiday, particularly the garden and Exmouth beach which they were overjoyed to play on with no restrictions. A lovely holiday, thank you.

Amazing house would absolutely recommend and return

August 2018
The cottage was very charming and quiet.. The facilities were good and gave a good feeling. Just a few small things could do with addressing such as a leak from the main shower. The light in the games room did not work. In one bedroom the ceiling could do with refurbishing.

Cottage is located in a quiet village, overlooking the hotel gardens next door, beautiful view, shared with a magnificent peacock and his 3 lovely peahens who came to visit us everyday,.. The cottage garden is big and has plenty of space for our little dog to explore. The cottage itself is stunning, very cosy, big kitchen, plenty of space for 3 people sharing.
