You can share long dinners in the open-plan kitchen, curl up in the cinema room, or unwind in the garden with a glass of wine. With walking trails and National Trust gems nearby, there’s plenty to explore. The home is set over three floors, so it's worth bearing in mind you’ll need to climb stairs to access the bedrooms. However the space, views, and sense of escape make it well worth it.

*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a travel cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the levels of the home. For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground-floor cloakroom.
*There’s free parking on the driveway.
*Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to accompany you during your stay.
*The minimum stay is three nights, and weekly bookings must start on a Friday.
*The ceiling in the fourth bedroom is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
