Located in a rural area in the southern part of Exmoor, One Lower Spire Cottage is an excellent base for exploring nearby attractions such as Tarr Steps, which is less than a mile away, and Winsford Common. The property is semi-detached, with Two Lower Spire Cottage located next door and also available for holiday rental, accommodating up to six guests. When rented together, the two cottages can provide a comfortable stay for up to 11 guests in six bedrooms.

With stunning views of the Liscombe Valley and Winsford Moor, Lower Spire Cottage offers a perfect escape from the pressures of modern life. It provides an opportunity to unwind in a picturesque and peaceful retreat. These Exmoor holiday cottages are both family and dog-friendly, making them an unforgettable getaway for everyone.

Guests can step out of the cottages and immerse themselves in nature. A short walk will take them to the River Barle and the Neolithic monument of Tarr Steps, where they can dine at the award-winning Tarr Farm. From there, they can venture on to Winsford Moor to see the native Exmoor ponies and elusive Red Deer.

On the ground floor:

Lounge with wood-burner (complimentary basket of logs and kindling included to get you started), 40 inch Smart TV and extensive views to the moor.

Bathroom comprising a walk in electric shower, toilet and hand basin.

On the first floor:
Bedroom with king-sized double bed and panoramic views of the moor.
Twin bedroom.
Family bathroom with bath, separate walk-in rainfall shower, toilet, hand basin and hairdryer.

Full central heating throughout which can be adjusted to suit your preferences and the seasons.
Bed linen and towels are included.
Free wifi is included.
Kitchen essentials are provided including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, washing machine tablets, bin bags, cling film, foil, toilet rolls, hand wash.
A travel cot and highchair are available on request (no extra charge).

Well behaved dogs are welcome (up to a maximum of 2 dogs) for a supplement of £20 per dog. Please keep dogs on the ground floor in the kitchen and boot/utility room.
