The village lies on The Coleridge Way, a long distance path running along The Quantock Hills towards the North Somerset coast. The Quantock countryside is among the finest in England and was the first to be awarded the national status of Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and Quantock Common is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The hills provide almost 50 square miles of open heathland, woodland, small villages and farmland, with some beautiful countryside for walking, horse riding and bird watching. Within a short drive of Bicknoller are Dunster Castle, West Somerset Railway, Hestercombe House and Gardens, Clarke's Retail Village, Glastonbury Abbey, Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge and Exmoor.
