You can’t get more central than this. Just fifty metres from the Roman Baths, this compact yet comfortable apartment sits within the redeveloped St Catherine’s Hospital. It overlooks the original courtyard garden – a peaceful spot right in the heart of the city. Inside, there’s an open-plan kitchen and living area, a bedroom with a desk for remote working, and a sofa bed for two extra guests (though you'll have to share the ensuite bathroom). Step outside and you’re moments from Bath’s top sights, with no shortage of cafés, restaurants, and bars to choose from.

Home truths:
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
*At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area. It's also worth noting that access to the bathroom is via the bedroom.
*The wi-fi can be temperamental here. It might be worth bringing a personal hotspot device with you if you know you'll need to access the internet.
*It's worth noting that the mattress here is on the firmer side, so not everyone might find them comfortable.*Early check-ins and late check-outs are available upon request only. They can be arranged close to your arrival or departure date.
