The former home of an original Seahouses' boat builder, this spacious house has been sympathetically refurbished to capture some of its original features, even using some of the remaining boat building materials in order to offer you a unique holiday home from home. Wander to the beach for a picnic, take the coastal path to Bamburgh and you will see the magnificent Castle views guiding your every step. Take a boat trip across to the Farne Islands to see a myriad of birdlife and puffins at certain times of the year. Cross the causeway to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne for a magical day and visit Beadnell Bay for the water sports and sand dunes. Enter this welcoming holiday home through the front door and into the hallway where there are coats hooks and space for your boots and shoes. The beautifully presented lounge is off to the left where you can settle back into the two large, comfortable sofas and the cushioned window seat after a busy day on the beach. Snuggle together in front of the cosy wood burner and perhaps watch a film on the Smart TV. Heading through to the spacious, open plan kitchen/diner you are greeted by light flooding in through the almost wall to wall bi folding doors and skylights in this super extension of the original property. Here you can cook up a storm for your family or friends on the gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. There are two more comfortable sofas to relax on while keeping the chef company or you could spend time reading and there is another TV here too to watch while you prepare a meal. You can then all dine together indoors overlooking the garden or head outside to the raised decked patio for an al fresco meal. There is a useful separate WC with washbasin just off the hallway. Take the stairs to the first floor for the three lovely bedrooms, all with a TV. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a wardrobe and drawers to store your things and an en suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed and open storage and the third bedroom has twin beds, a long mirror and plenty of storage so you can all unpack and relax. The bright family bathroom has a large P shaped bath with a shower over so you can enjoy either a long soak or a refreshing shower. Outside, the raised decking area has a patio table and seating for al fresco dining and original wood from the boatyard form the four steps down to the rest of the garden. There is a side gate for easy access and a gate leading to a short cut into the village. To the front, you can park two cars on the private driveway.
