We really enjoyed Edenvale.. The cottage was lovely, the village had everything we needed, the Granby Arms just across the road was fantastic, and the area as a whole was superb!

The pictures don’t do the cottage justice.. It’s very pretty and has everything we needed. Our little dog loved the enclosed yard. The scones from the Running Fox Bakery were lovely to have in front of the log burner with a glass of wine. Everything was perfect.

This is a well equipped cottage, with a lovely sunny yard to enjoy a glass of wine in or even your breakfast.. Our dogs were both made very welcome and the short walk to the dog field each day was never a chore. The pub down the road was happy to invite dogs in, so we enjoyed a couple of very nice meals there.

Wow!!! What a gem of a cottage! We had an amazing stay here, such a lovely location, conveniently close to 2 pubs, local shop and delicious bakery. Perfect if you have dogs as there are lots of nice walks nearby. The Log burning stove completely made our stay so cozy and warm. Terri the host was so friendly and made us feel very welcome in the cottage. Would definitely recommend and most likely we will return.

The owners had thought about everything to make our short stay relaxing and comfortable.. The cottage is gorgeous and lovely and warm to return to on a blustery October day. They left us a wonderful selection of coffee, bread, wine and sweets for the kids. Smashing, would highly recommend.

Loved staying at this cottage. it was very well stocked in the kitchen and the beds were really comfy. Ideally situated the village has great shops that stock everything you need general store pubs cake/bread shop and butchers all are of a high quality and walking distance. If you have a dog plenty of walks nearby and a dog field 5mins away. The cottage was done to a very high standard and very comfy with the owner ready to answer any queries . All in all I would definitely recommend a stay here beautiful cottage and part of the country

This cottage location was ideal for our needs.. Not far from the coast or national park. Everywhere was easy to get to. This village is great with good shops and two pubs for good food. We had two dogs and they were welcomed everywhere. The owners gave us a lovely unexpected welcome pack and made us feel at home, Although situated on a busy road it didn't detract from the whole experience. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

We were met by the owner who explained everything in detail.. We had a slight problem with the timer on the oven (my fault) and the owner came straight over to sort out for us. We were left a lovely welcome gift which was much appreciated. Great holiday home which felt more like a home rather than an holiday stay.

The holiday house was perfect.. On arrival there was a tray with coffee, butter, cheese and bread. The radio was on and lamps on throughout the house. The house was very well equipped, extremely clean and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. This is out second Sykes property we have stayed in and we would definitely look at Sykes again when booking a holiday home.

Great cottage in a lovely village.. The Running Fox is well worth a visit for breakfast or for picnic foods, but don't expect to keep your weight down. We have never been to this part of the country in summer and it was beautiful.

The cottage itself was excellent and the welcome pack exceeded anything we have previously had as were the additional cooking ‘basics’ in the store cupboard! The location in Longframlington was also very good as central to coast or inland attractions. The bedding, towels and all amenities at the cottage were excellent too. Everything was spotlessly clean and felt like a real home from home. If there was one downside it is that the cottage is on a very busy road through the village with heavy trucks all day and most of the night. Although the cottage had additional soundproofing on the windows it was still difficult to sleep (light sleepers).

The holiday cottage was excellent and everything we wanted it to be.. The welcome was extremely warm with a roaring fire and wine, cheese and coffee amongst the welcome pack provided, all of which was very much appreciated. The standard of the furnishings and facilities was 1st class, with the cottage being very clean and well presented. The only down side was the traffic noise, particularly in the morning with heavy HGV's going past the bedroom window from 7am onwards. Having said that we would be more than happy to stay in this cottage again if ever in the area. Thanks you for a lovely holiday.

The one photo of the cottage did not fully represent how lovely and well equipped the cottage is.. The finishing touches of fresh flowers and welcome goodies was a very nice gesture by the owner.

A fantastic cottage with everything you could need. Tastefully decorated and really comfy beds. A great welcome pack from Terri and she is very responsive to any problems. Cottage is in a great location with easy access to both beach and country walks. The village has two pubs the village has a good pub atmosphere and the granby does great food, the cake at the running fox is not to be missed.
