Located within the grounds of a private working farm cottage collection and just under 100 metres from the beach, the cottage has an abundance of dune walks and coastal trails on the doorstep.The village is half a mile walk, where a country pub serves food and local ales, while the beach side pub/restaurant in nearby Low Newton serves ale from its microbrewery and a stroll to the nature reserve allows for a spot of bird-watching, The market town Alnwick is a must-visit for the magnificent castle that was used as part of the set on the Harry Potter films. Take a boat trip to the rugged Farne Islands from Seahouses harbour and you might be lucky enough to spot some seals.
