The bedrooms rest on the ground floor and consist of two doubles (zip/link, can be twins) serviced by a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed front patio with furniture, a gated driveway for one car, and additional roadside parking for one car. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 3.3 miles, a pub in 2 miles, and Wensley Waterfall in 2 miles. Sunshine Cottage is a delightful base for a North Yorkshire escape. Note: There are steps to the exterior of the home. Note: There is a spiral staircase in the home, unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

In this stunning region, there are charming places to explore and a variety of lovely treks suitable for all skill levels. Other sights are also conveniently close by, including the delightful Georgian town of Richmond with its magnificent castle ruins, the Picturesque Burton Hall Gardens with its expansive parkland and woodland walks, and the Forbidden Corner.
