Lovely cottage in a charming rural location.. The cottage is well equipped and in an excellent location for walking and visiting the local National Heritage sites. Ruth had the cottage all ready for our arrival and the bottle of wine was an unexpected treat. Wouldn't hesitate to return if the opportunity arises. Great place to relax and switch off.

The cottage was absolutely stunning.. Much bigger than expected with a beautiful harden. The pictures on the site don’t do it justice. A great week away and highly recommended.

Wonderful cottage in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales..

Beautifully clean; but 4 star rating for following reasons: car parking for two cars difficult - too narrow and if you stray off edge of patio then difficult to get car back from drop; needs more gravel/or cement to stabilise area .. Inside cottage the Snuggery is overcrowded and access to piano impossible with heavy sofa in front of it. The Chest of draws is superfluous and should be removed. Then more chairs to sit and watch Tv would be possible. The TV itself was poorly connected - dodgy cable and picture kept breaking up. There was no dvd facilities to play these for children. Upstairs shower room loo seat was too big for loo so if male using it had to hold up seat all time. But Overall lots of positives.

The Old Post Office in Marrick is a very well appointed cottage in a quiet village location.. Ideal for walkers or less energetic car trips to local visitor attractions. Thoroughly recommended.

My family had a great break at the cottage. Lovely location, lovely cottage. Felt that a lot of thought had gone into the design and renovation of the cottage. Everything was provided so you could just turn up and enjoy the surroundings. Felt the cottage was very spacious. Lovely garden too. Very pretty plants and flowers. Saw lots of different birds come into the garden, lots of birdsong to be heard. Felt private too.

As it was a newly refurbished property everything was in good order and the quality of appliances and furnishings was excellent, whilst keeping the character of the cottage. We couldn't have asked for more.
