Offering an excellent base for walking, cycling, fishing and lots of outdoor activities, Embsay also lies just over a mile from the popular 'Gateway to the Dales' town of Skipton. Embsay is also home to the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway taking you on a scenic journey through picturesque countryside up to Bolton Abbey, where you can hop off the train and enjoy a walk up to the historic Bolton Priory.
