This detached cottage is right in the centre of Whitby, so you’ve got restaurants, shops and cafes on your doorstep and can easily make the most of the seaside town. Inside, the open-plan kitchen, living and dining area is fairly compact, but there’s still room for everyone to relax on the sofas or sit down together for meals. Upstairs, the bedrooms and bathroom have sloping ceilings, so taller guests might need to watch their heads. It’s all part of the cottage’s charm, though – plus it’s dog-friendly, too.
