Sea Dog is a lovely and comfortable beach house with everything that you need for your holiday.. Our dog loved lying in front of the patio doors and watching the ducks and rabbits wander by. We love Filey Bay complex as it is quiet. Would recommend the cafe and pub on site.

Had a lovely break in Yorkshire at the sea dog cottage, excellent facilities and really liked the complex.. Enjoyed going swimming and to the pub in the evening. The log burner adds a real coziness to the place.
The local area was lovely, enjoyed an afternoon tea at a nearby hotel, as well as a day in Whitby which was very pretty.
Only improvement would be that the place was freezing when we arrived and took a long time to heat up, I guess because the living room diner is a large space but there was no way of using the fire when we arrived, we had to run out to buy wood, kindling and matches, but also the radiator in the hallway didn’t get very hot compared to others, I think it needs bleeding. As soon as the place warmed up it was wonderful though.
Would definitely recommend booking this place.

Was really lovely break , weather was fantastic, cabin was a little small and cramped but adequate for our stay
Dishwasher was great but no dishwasher tablets available , would have brought some from home if I had known.. Mattress on main bed very soft and uncomfortable, but maybe just not we are used too
Otherwise delightful, but very close to neighbours accommodation with full view into all the cabins not very private but fine in you are planning on being out and about must of the day , on site facilities were great we tried archery, but didn’t have a lot of time for much else.

Only thing I would like you to note, the entry door as you go in was sticking badly, the wall around the door was cracking , we used it once to go in then noticed the wall and for the rest of the week used the patio door.. It needs reporting to the owners as could cause a lot of damage. Other wise had a really good week and will most definatley be using sea dog again.
