The charming town of Filey is only 3.4 miles away, and it features fascinating museums, numerous local cafés, and a stunning beach. Visit Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park to see the cute ponies and beautiful alpaca, or spend the day at Playdale Farm Park touching the farm animals and letting the kids run wild in the soft-play area. Visit the Scarborough Fair Collection and Vintage Transport Museum to witness a Victorian fairground powered by steam engines and an impressive collection of old automobiles and motorcycles. Scarborough, only 9 miles away, is home to mediaeval castles, a Japanese-style garden, and an outdoor theatre.
