No WiFi - gobsmacked to find that in this day and age that the owner doesn’t .... No WiFi - gobsmacked to find that in this day and age that the owner doesn’t deem it necessary to provide WiFi - if I book with Sykes again that will be my first question if contemplating a booking - amazed Sykes doesn’t insist on this basic requirement Lighting in the kitchen very poor - needs a higher intensity bulb in the only light in the kitchen Otherwise lovely cottage

Lighting in kitchen was unfortunately too dim .. More lighting needed over oven and sink area . Otherwise the property is excellent and cosy with a very efficient heating system and quirky layout . Property is very convenient for car park at top of hill although spaces limited at busy times. Lovely welcome pack with bottle of wine , milk , chocs. and basics. Thank you.

Really lovely cottage in the heart of the old town.. Cozy, very clean, very helpful owners. Kids had an amazing break, and Robin Hood’s Bay exceeded our expectations.

The owner of this cottage went above and beyond.. Texted us to say if we were in the area the cottage was ready for us, that they had put the heating on (as it was rather cold) and where the free car parks were around our cottage and if we had any queries just to contact her. On entering we found welcome goodies which exceeded anything we have ever experienced. Even the fridge and larder were stocked with items to get us started. There was nothing that this cottage lacked, the owner had thought of everything. We would highly recommend this cottage, we were even sent a text wishing us a safe journey and then when we got home a text thanking us for leaving the cottage so clean. All these extra touches makes the holiday experience just even better than it already was. It's set in such a beautiful area with so much to do. We can't wait to return........

We were wonderfully surprised on our arrival to find every facility you would need as if you were at home.. Starting with an incredible welcome pack consisting of milk butter, bread, chocolate chip biscuits, fresh fruit, after eight mints and a bottle of Prosecco and a bottle of soft drink. As to all regular things you would naturally have in your pantry at home was there. The accommodation was larger than we expected again not needing anything from your hairdryer to bedding towels soap etc, and still more was available and as we have stated "home from home". If there was any negative aspect and believe me there was not! in our experience it would not be good with anybody that has any limited mobility because there are lots of stairs. Great value for money we will defiantly be back. Thanks again to the owner Glennis and Denise.

Pebbles Cottage is absolutely lovely! Beautiful decor, great location, comfortable beds, and loads of little extras that made our stay really special. The welcome pack was much appreciated, and the owners were incredibly friendly.

This place is nicest, most well-appointed cottage we've ever stayed in.. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and is beautiful and cosy. The location in Robin hood's Bay couldn't be more picturesque and if you drive, it's well situated for Whitby, Scarborough and even York if you're willing to drive for an hour. The landlady is helpful and considerate and my 4 children all said they wanted to stay there forever.

Pebble Cottage felt like home the moment we stepped through the door! It was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and furnished and had everything we needed and more. Glenis kindly left so many thoughtful touches; bread, milk, butter, wine, biscuits and even a bucket of treats and a pumpkin for the kids to enjoy as we stayed over Halloween. Pebble cottage is our favourite out of all the cottages we have stayed in so far. We will definitely come back.

Brilliant cottage.. Very clean and comfortable and very well stocked which helped with young children. We would book this cottage again ... only very minor suggestion would be some coat hooks :-)

What a gorgeous cottage.. We took our 4 month old baby here for our first family holiday and I am so glad we chose this place as it was such a perfect week. The owner has really carefully thought about making this place not only practical but comfortable. Lots of little touches around the cottage make it feel really homely and a lovely place to go back to after trips out during the day. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and we had all the info we needed. The place is so clean and clearly very well cared for. We would happily stay here again!

This cottage is delightful and was really exciting to live in for the week because of its layout; our children loved the twisty stairs and the attic bedroom and we loved drinking our cup of morning tea, looking across the bay.. The cottage was absolutely immaculate for cleanliness and overall condition. We were welcomed with some lovely and thoughtful welcome gifts and the cupboards were stocked with helpful items such as tea and coffee, oils, vinegar, sauces, cling film and washing powder. I would recommend this house and Robin Hoods Bay in general as the perfect holiday destination for a young family, we had hours of fun on a number of local beaches and some interesting days out which included Whitby, The Eden Camp and The Mouseman. The shops in the Bay are lovely - we all got carried away in the fossil shop! The alleys are also amazing and we just enjoyed walking through them and seeing all of the interesting houses and steps. Thanks for a really lovely week Glenis & Denis!!

Hi, We have had a really awesome holiday at Pebble Cottage.. The kids really enjoyed the holiday and we loved our home for the week, the cottage was way above what we were expecting so clean, bright and airy and set out very well. When we arrived at Pebble cottage we were made to feel welcome by the goodies that were left for us that put the icing on the cake. We have stayed at lots of cottages and holiday homes but Pebble cottage was above all of them in class. Many thanks for a great holiday home set in such a beautiful arena. Regards and blessings Russell and Chris Perchard.

A perfect cottage that was surprisingly spacious, given its location.. We were ideally situated at the top of the old village, so we had the joy of an authentic Robin Hoods Bay cottage but not far from the car parks (for which the owner had the invaluable permit). Our party was four adults and one toddler and we found it easily met our needs. As a previous reviewer has said, the welcome pack was excellent and furnishing made it feel like a home from home (without the clutter!). If we could we would definitely stay again.

Pebbles Cottage was a delight.. Beautifully decorated, generously equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a fabulous, sunny week there. Robin Hoods Bay is a great spot for walking, beach days and touring North Yorkshire but, really, the cottage made it for us. We loved "coming home" to it!
