The charming village of Stiffkey enjoys an excellent location on the northern coast of Norfolk, close to the idyllic towns and villages of Blakeney (4 miles), Wells next the Sea (4 miles) and Cley next the Sea (5 miles), which is home to the wonderful Cley Marshes Nature Reserve. The Stiffkey Salt Marshes form part of the wonderful Blakeney National Nature Reserve which is fantastic for enjoying a spot of birdwatching. From Blakeney Point you can take a boat trip out to see a local colony of grey seals. The popular coastal town of Cromer is just 17 miles away and is famous for its traditional seaside entertainments. Nearby attractions include Langham Glass, the Muckleburgh Military Collection, Binham Priory and Thursford Steam Museum. This lovely cottage, which was originally two farm workers cottages, is approached along a private driveway and a bridge leading from the south of the village. Please note, this bridge is only designed for domestic vehicles up to 4x4s. On entering the cottage, which retains plenty of original features including exposed beams and brickwork, you will find the cosy and welcoming oak floored lounge, which features plenty of comfortable seating, a traditional wood burner and Smart TV, DVD and CD. Exploring further you will find a shaker style kitchen/diner which has original pamment floor tiles and a charming dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave and larder, steps lead down to a useful utility room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and larder fridge/freezer. There is also a ground floor bathroom. Two sets of steep narrow cottage style stairs lead up to the first floor, stairs from the kitchen lead to the cosy easterly twin bedroom, and a staircase from the lounge lead tothe other to the westerly twin room which has views over the garden, walking through the twin bedroom to a bunk bedroom having a shower room on the first floor comprising of shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC. The private south facing walled garden is accessed through a stable door and has foot access to the coast road. The lovely south facing patio makes a delightful space to sit back and relax in, with views across to the meadows and river. There is ample parking available.
