Originally an inn, this cottage is one of the first buildings erected in the 15th-century town of Wells-next-the-sea. Now it welcomes large groups to enjoy a modern interior and a large south-facing garden. Spot the views over the conservation area, thanks to its elevated position. The space is cosy, though it's worth noting that one of the bedrooms is without a door, so it might not feel the most private. Still, it is minutes away from the harbour and a fifteen-minute walk from Well's Beach. You're also in one of the UK's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which you can explore more by car.
Home truths: *There’s free parking for up to four cars on the driveway.
*Though still private, one bedroom doesn't have a door. The zip-n-link beds can be made up as doubles or single beds upon request.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*You'll find a welcome hamper of Nespresso coffee pods, herbal tea, a bottle of wine, popcorn, shortbread, biscuits, elderflower cordial and jam here, and a kitchen supply of tea, coffee, and sugar. If you want to stock up on essentials during your stay, you'll find the closest supermarket nine minutes away.
