The Wolds scenery is breathtaking with rolling chalk hills and valleys, situated south of the North Yorkshire Moors, another spot perfect for picnics and a favourite with the artist David Hockney. In the spring and summertime, the cliffs at Bempton host important numbers of breeding seabirds which is only a short drive away. The popular seaside towns of Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough are close by, why not take a tour of one of the local lighthouses or enjoy a trip to sea on an old fishing cobble? Venture slightly further afield and you can discover Beverley Minster and the historic city of York. Step inside this well laid out cottage where the owners have created a spacious and light retreat with all your home comforts. Walk through to the open plan kitchen area, with all the appliances you could need to rustle up a hearty meal, with an electric hob/oven, fridge, dishwasher and chest freezer.
