The historical and grand Chatsworth House, gardens and parkland, where deer and sheep freely roam, is just 6 miles away. Haddon Hall near Bakewell, is a beautiful medieval manor house, with fabulous organically managed gardens and parkland, and is just 6.5 miles away. Bakewell with its famous Bakewell pudding, wonderful places to eat and independent shops, is just under 9 miles away. Or why not have a venture on a cable car at Matlock Bath and explore the Heights of Abraham or visit the independent shops on Dale Road Matlock, all just 9 miles away. A little further afield is Mam Tor, Monsal Head, Edale, Castleton, Hathersage and the Derwent Valley to name but a few.
