Area Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the SW Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and in 2.5 miles is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow and the Camel Estuary are all within a 40-minute drive.
Region Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Where do I start? Would rate this a minus if I could.Arrived to find outside table completely broken.Filthy bins, cobwebs, chipped cups, double glazing blown in the lounge, not allowed to open windows in lounge or main bedroom and to top it all, mould and dampness everywhere. The second bedroom was so mouldy that our clothes felt damp and smelt of mould. The owner had even tried to hide one wall that was completely covered in black mould with a wooden panel..dehumidifiers were also hidden everywhere. When we complained to the cleaning company on the first day they told me the owner was aware of the mould and damp throughout this property, yet it is still allowed to be hired out to poor holidaymakers. If you read this review please take note, I have never left reviews before but just feel I need to let everyone know what this place is like.

Stayed in Tintagel for the first time and this property was the perfect location for the 3 of us to spend a wet and windy Dec weekend
Everything is well presented and of a high spec. I hate to use the term ’deceptively spacious’ but it just is.
Comfortable, warm and only a few feet from the town centre.
Would happily recommend, and we will definitely be back.
Definitely check out the ‘Olde Malthouse’ if you are looking for a lovely pub with fantastic beer, food and service.
