This beach side community provides a great magnet for surfers and coastal path walkers. With majestic scenery, high cliffs and rocky coves to explore it's the perfect holiday retreat, while Tintagel with King Arthur's castle, a selection of cafes and restaurants and an old Post Office is just one mile away over the cliff tops. The area is perfect for exploring the major surfing beaches to the south as well as the open spaces of Bodmin Moor just 10 miles to the east. The major beach resort of Bude is 12 miles away while Boscastle with its quaint harbour and pottery is just 4 miles away. Newquay, the Eden Project and the cathedral city of Truro can all be reached within 40 minutes by car.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

The house was lovely, had everything we needed and was like a home away from home. The location is amazing, only a short walk to the costal path and then on to the beach or Tintagel. Easy access to pasties, ice cream, cream teas and plenty of different places to explore too. We had our dog with us and he loved it, everywhere we went (even some of the shops in Tintagel) were dog friendly so it was never an issue having our pup with us. Would definitely recommend this place to any of our friends and family, and will be booking again in the future.

Stayed here myself a couple of years ago and after lockdown in 2020 booked it for my mum and her friend (both in their 80's) for a weeks break, this is their review, Absolutely loved the cottage, not far from Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Issac, great pub in the village, food was amazing, cottage has huge kitchen/diner which had everything they needed for cooking their own meals, sunny courtyard garden for bbq's, mums companion not great with stairs so she had ground floor room with shower room, loved the log burner for those chilly September nights, they had a lovely stay and are looking to return this year if overseas travel is not permitted.

Stayed here for a week with family members just after the lockdown easing. Comfortable and homely setting, particularly the kitchen which was very spacious and warm. Bedrooms were also cosy with an olde worlde charm but also liked the re-furbished parts of the house such as the downstairs ensuite. Only slight criticism was the Internet connection where it was only really strong enough in the living room, but we were out most days so it did not concern us too much. Would encourage other families to stay here and explore the area of Tintagel. Loads to do even when weather isn't great!

Comfortable and well stocked.. Showers excellent and beds comfortable. Parking was a bit of a problem but to be expected as located in a little hamlet. Overall an enjoyable stay and Parwin is a great location, within easy reach to many places.

Fantastic location , close to the coastal footpath.. Really comfy beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The only very small thing is could there be a toilet roll holder in the upstairs bathroom

The property itself was lovely, however the car parking facilities were very disappointing.. We regularly returned from days out to find a car parked both outside the property and outside the garage where we were supposed to park. The neighbours were also unhelpful.

Really comfortable and cosy cottage.. Plenty of space for the 8 of us aged from 9 to 84! Easy if steep walk to a fantastic beach ( 2 hours before and 2 hours afte low water). Fabulous location with plenty to do, from surfing and body boarding to visiting mystical Tintagel - an exciting walk along the coast path for the boys- and enjoying glorious Lanhydrock estate. We even made a day trip to St Ives, where everyone loved the Tate and the boat trip to seal island. Perfect destination for an all age family holiday.

Located within walking distance of tintagel, five minutes from coastal path, lovely walks in both directions, village pub close by and serves great food, traditional Cornish cottage with slate floors, huge kitchen/diner and cozy lounge with woodburner, quiet location, only stayed 3 days but would have loved to stay longer, will definitely be back, great place to relax and unwind.

We loved the kitchen.. My friend thought living sofa could do with a clean . Squeaking beds took a couple of nights to get used to noise as I am a very light sleeper. We really enjoyed our stay
