It is not far to drive to the attractive working harbours of Looe and Polperro, and the wonderful lengths of the South West Coast Path in this region of Cornwall will lead you to secluded coves, dramatic headlands, and the legends of shipwrecks and smugglers. Plymouth, a bit further away, has a marine aquarium, a theatre, major shopping malls, and the historic Barbican waterfront district.
