The cottage is located on the edge of the market town of Liskeard, with shops, bars and restaurants within a mile. It is an ideal base for touring Cornwall and South Devon, and the rugged Bodmin Moor, with leisurely walks and beautiful beaches nearby. The railway station is less than half a mile away, where you enjoy a wooded valley ride to the fishing port of Looe and its sandy beach. The Eden Project (22 miles) offers a fun and educational day out for all ages, or you could visit Adrenalin Quarry (5 miles) for an action packed day out. The historic harbours of Looe and Polperro are within 10 miles where you can mosey around the quaint, narrow streets lined with shops and cafes, or enjoy a lovely boat trip. After parking your car at the rear of the property, walk through the garden and enter the detached house via the kitchen/diner. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, and washer/dryer, and is a great space to prepare an evening meal or pack up a picnic for a day of exploring. The dining area is a sociable space where you can sit and discuss your day with the family. Moving through into the lounge, this comfortable room offers ample seating, a smart TV and a wood burner effect electric fire. Out in the hallway is a convenient ground floor WC. Moving upstairs, there are two bright bedrooms, both with king size beds one of which is a zip and link that can be made up as 2 6 twin beds on request. Completing this floor is the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Outside is a private walled garden laid to lawn, with a patio area, garden furniture, and a charcoal BBQ. This is a lovely, private spot to enjoy some al fresco dining or a drink at the end of the day. There is also private off road parking for one car leave the car parked all weeks and take advantage of being located within a short walk of the train station offering convenient rail and bus links.
