Right on the banks of the River Fowey, this Cornish home makes the most of its waterside setting. Start the day with coffee on the terrace as boats drift past, or wander down to the shared pontoon for crabbing, paddleboarding or setting off along the river. Inside, there’s plenty of space to spread out, with a cosy sitting room complete with a wood burner and a bright kitchen-diner made for long, relaxed meals together. Upstairs, two of the bedrooms look out over the water, making mornings here feel pretty special. When it’s time to explore, Polruan, Fowey and the South West Coast Path are all close by, along with some of Cornwall’s most beautiful fishing villages.
