The quaint quay side is on the door step from where you can take a relaxing trip on the passenger ferry to the bustling and fashionable small port of Fowey which is flanked by fourteenth century blockhouses. Should you decide to leave the village to visit more of the area you will not be disappointed as there is so much to see and do, go for a walk on the beautiful coastal path to Lantic Bay then onto Polperro or even Bodinnick where you can catch the ferry back to Fowey and then Polruan.
