We love the open-plan living space, with its fully-equipped country kitchen, large dining table and cosy lounge, complete with a wood-burning stove. Spend mornings huddled here with a cup of tea, slathering salted butter onto fresh bread from the local bakery – delivered daily to your doorstep if you wish. Outside, you'll find the enclosed garden, promising privacy and dressed to the nines with a firepit, barbecue and woodfired hot tub. Spend balmy evenings here, toasting marshmallows at sunset.

With its off-the-beaten-track location and lush surroundings, we wouldn't blame you for never leaving this pocket of heaven. Though if you fancy exploring, the towns of Redruth, Falmouth and Helston are less than twenty minutes away by car, while the honeypot haunt of St Ives is a thirty-five-minute drive away. The closest village, Stithians, can be reached in half an hour on foot. Stop by for a hearty pub lunch, or visit the local reservoir for watersports galore.
