The journey to this charming West Cornish home is one of winding country lanes and wild, untouched beauty. You'll find it nestled in a twenty-six-acre Victorian dairy farm amidst verdant pastures, wildflower meadows and a picturesque cluster of cottages. Set in an old stable, the pastoral facade of this home delights from the offset. Inside, renovated interiors ensure comfort and style. We love the open-plan living space, with its fully-equipped country kitchen, large dining table and cosy lounge, complete with a wood-burning stove. Spend mornings huddled here with a cup of tea, slathering salted butter onto fresh bread from the local bakery – delivered daily to your doorstep if you wish. Outside, you'll find the enclosed garden, promising privacy and dressed to the nines with a firepit, barbecue and woodfired hot tub. Spend balmy evenings here, toasting marshmallows at sunset. With its off-the-beaten-track location and lush surroundings, we wouldn't blame you for never leaving this pocket of heaven. Though if you fancy exploring, the towns of Redruth, Falmouth and Helston are less than twenty minutes away by car, while the honeypot haunt of St Ives is a thirty-five-minute drive away. The closest village, Stithians, can be reached in half an hour on foot. Stop by for a hearty pub lunch, or visit the local reservoir for watersports galore.

About Falmouth

Falmouth attracts a wealthy crowd, as well as surf-loving students – Exeter University has a campus here – who use the town as a base for seeking out Cornwall’s gnarliest waves. Falmouth itself has some excellent beaches. You’ll find sailing, windsurfing and canoeing at the sandy Swanpool and a popular cafe along the curved bay of Gyllyngvase, while Castle Beach is named after Pendennis Castle. Host

This home is managed by Andrea

This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Andrea and her family initially fell in love with the North Cornwall coast and made plans to move there once their children had flown the next. However, the allure proved too strong and they brought their plans forward by several years, painstakingly creating these cottage escapes from scratch over the course of a global pandemic.
