To the exterior is a small garden with lawn, patio are and seating, as well as ample off-road parking. Rails End is the perfect base to return to after an adventure on the moors.

Area
Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. It is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, sandy beaches and the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Enclosed garden with patio, furniture and lawn (accessed through double bedroom). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: Four trains, plus steam trains, pass by property between 8.30am and 7.15pm daily, some associated noise may be heard. Please note: From the car park there are several steps leading down to the cottage.
