What a beautiful place & the lodge was lovely

Only downfall not enough seating in the lounge area, one settee and one uncomfortable chair, apart from that really enjoyed it.. A bottle of wine waiting for us and treats for our dog were a great touch. We will definitely be back.

Sette needs replacing as very uncomfortable.. otherwise ok As we have been before we know that main Rushpool Hall facilities are NOT available to lodge occupants and you are told so in no uncertain manner Perhaps you should add a note to the description so that any new visitors are aware. booked for 2020 already so plusses outweigh negatives!

Still not a 10minute Walk into town as advertised but the wi fi is a lot better .... Still not a 10minute Walk into town as advertised but the wi fi is a lot better than last year Perfect base for exploring the surrounding area we visited Saltburn, Whitby, Sandsend and Goathland, plenty of dog friendly pubs , ample parking and the dog loved walking around the woods Stayed in the same lodge last year and will probably come back as it makes a nice early break

Cooker could have been cleaner and loads of cobwebs in the property.. ..... the sofa and chairs were considerably past their best and really uncomfortable!!!!..... only 2 wine glasses and only 1 tumbler.... difficult when 4 of us stayed.....

Furniture and bed were to low down, struggled to get comfortable.. The lodge was well equipped, warm and cosy. Value for money, would be better if the sofa nd bed was sorted. Would contemplate going back.

In this cottage , although very clean and quiet, hard to relax in evening as three piece suite past its best and hard to get comfortable.. Found the beds quite hard too. Location was beautiful and very peaceful. The area surrounding was lovely.

Although the lodge was excellent, relaxed and perfect chilling location and we are hoping to return there was one thing that we thought it lacked was been dog friendly there was no gates on the veranda..

The staff were extremely helpful and Paul the maintenance man went out of his way to get the wifi working.. Normally this would not have mattered but was expecting an email. The downfall was the settee once you sat on it,it took a while to get up.It was a lovely and relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.

Primrose Lodge & all the others are set in a beautiful location tucked away from the main road, with everything you could need for that Staycation.. ..It was lovely to see all the wildlife outside your door roaming free too.The only comment I would make is that it is longer than a ten minute walk to get to Saltburn beach even when venturing through the grounds itself. If it was a family with a pushchair wanting to walk, it would take around 30 minutes via the road.

We returned for the 2nd year running and the only disappointment was that the Wi-Fi was a weaker signal than previously and mostly unobtainable.. Otherwise very nice and we would go again

Arrived to find painter still painting exterior of lodge, fridge door broke and not declared by the previous tennant which caused a delay in the repair as it was the cleaner that found it broke, although the handyman did fix it within the first hour of our arrival Mugs very badly tea stained we had to bleach them before use Sykes did say the property was 10 mins to the beach and amenities, it is less by car but if you want to walk to the beach it takes about 45 mins.. Rushpool Hall is an exclusive venue for weddings etc and is only open to lodge residents during these events you cannot gain access for food and drink at any other times Staff were nice and friendly, grounds were well maintained, nice quiet location easy access to the woods for walking the dog nice walk to the town centre and beach through the woods

Have stayed at Rushpool over the last 20 Years and these updated lodges are lovely.. Everything you need, good heating, lovely bathroom and kitchen. Everything you need. If you are there for a week then there is also the extra utility room with washing machine, hangin clothes drier and large freezer Plus the beautiful tranquil grounds (apart from the very vocal peacocks - who at this time of year are strutting their stuff with full displays of their tail feathers in the hopes of attracting a mate!] Will be back soon

Our 3rd visit.. In the same lodge. So lovely I could live there. Very quiet and peaceful ideal for dog, and lots of good walks nearby. Ideal if you need to recharge your battery if you have a hectic life.the grounds at rush pool are beautiful. Saltburn is an unspoilt Victorian coastal town with lots of places to eat.

August 2016
Was a bit disappointed with the description 10 mins walk to the beach because you couldn't really walk along the narrow country lane.. There was still a lot of grounds to walk our dog and the cabins were lovely and clean and the shower was amazing. We will be visiting again.

I booked this lodge as a surprise birthday break for my husband. We where blown away with the whole experience. This is the first time that we had travelled with our little dog and we could not have picked better. The lodge is set in a huge estate that belongs to Rushpool hall. lots of space to wander and see the wildlife. The lodge was beyond our expectation, it was very clean, cosy, warm and immaculatly decorated. It was so good we stayed an extra night and i could happily move in!!
