Beautiful holiday cottage, the pictures genuinely don’t do it justice.. The people who own the place are very friendly and happy to help. Great central location for many of the local attractions.

The Cottage is well placed for easy access to walks in the area including a pleasant stroll alongside the river into the town centre of Settle.. The kitchen is suitably provisioned but a casserole dish would have been a welcome addition. The beds were comfortable while the lounge provides extra space if you want some down time.

Photos do not do this place any justice, it's simply delightful. The view of penyghent is wonderful and from all other directions it's just magnificent. Upon arrival the barn was very clean. Beds extremely comfortable, bath and shower separate. Walk into settle along the river is wonderful and strolling takes about 50 minutes from the door (5 mins by car) All amenities in settle. Lovely walks direct from the door or just short drives away to local hamlets. Would definitely return.

The accommodation was very good, bright & airy but cosy with the underfloor heating.. It provided a great base for exploring the Dales and was only a few miles from Settle which provided some good options for eating out. We’d definitely visit again.

The property is a beautiful conversion in an outstanding location and certainly lives up to expectations, a full Sky package is a most welcome bonus.. Settle is an interesting place to visit with plenty of shops, pubs and cafes. There are plenty of local walks and famous tourist spots such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and Skipton Castle are within a short drive. The nearby pub, (The Craven Arms) is excellent, with great food and beer, if you need a good Sunday dinner you will need to book a table. There are two minus points to mention, first it is stated that the property has a slow WiFi signal, the week we were there there was no WiFi signal at all, to some people this fact could be important, secondly is although the kitchen is well equipped, the saucepans and trays are in poor condition and well past their use by date, they need replacing, again this is important to people who do not wish to eat out every day. On the whole this is a great property in a great location, we loved it.

Just to say the accommodation was excellent in every way.. We had a hot water issue on the Wednesday but Steven pulled out all the stops and got an electrician there and fixed it for us early next morning. All in all a very nice and restful holiday we wouldn't hesitate to go again. Cliff Leeds Norfolk

The cottage is modern, cosy and very well equipped with a panoramic view from the kitchen window.. It was a delight to see lambs and sheep in open fields when approaching and departing from the cottage. The cottage is ideally located to visit many places of interest both in the Yorkshire Dales and South Cumbria. A great place to stay for walking and if you wish to travel on the Settle to Carlisle Railway. I can highly recommend this cottage.

The standard of fixtures and fittings was excellent but it still had a homely feel. The location of the cottage was perfect for us as a base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

This was the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It was exceptionally clean and fresh. The welcome by the owners was great and their tips on where to visit were brilliant. We would heartily recommend this cottage. It is surrounded by fields but the location means that you can easily get to the main roads. The layout of the cottage made it very comfortable and easy to settle into. The area is great for exploring with or without kids.
