Holiday home
Park View is a first floor apartment situated in the lovely seaside town of Whitby. This apartment, part of a Victorian property overlooks Pannett Park and sleeps four people in two double bedrooms. The apartment also has a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Parking is available in a long stay car park, 5 minutes' walk away. With many attractions in Whitby itself, as well as the wonderful North York Moors National Park on your doorstep, makes Park View an ideal base for a couple of small family.

Accomodation Details
All first floor. Two bedrooms: 2 x double (one with access from one side only). Bathroom with bath, shower over, separate walk-in shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Area
The town of Whitby is situated at the mouth of the River Esk, offering narrow streets and alleyways, a harbour, sandy beaches and an abbey. The area offers wonderful coastlines and a trip around the North York Moors National Park is essential.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with FreeSat, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Loading/unloading outside property only. Parking in long stay car park 5 mins walk, plus roadside parking 5 mins walk. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Harbour 5 mins walk, beach 10 mins walk. Note: Road noise can be heard. Note: Although this is a no pet property, the owner occasionally stays at the apartment with her dog.

The property is bigger and brighter than the photos suggest.. The furniture is good quality, clean and comfortable. Although we didn't need them, there were drinks sachets/biscuits, also dishcloth/washing-up liquid, and toiletries. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything that we needed. The tray for muddy boots was very useful. There was always plenty of hot water, and the heating was very easy to use. It was in a great location - only five minutes walk from the bus/railway station. There's a lovely view of Pannett Park from the room window - I enjoyed watching the playful squirrels. Despite being on a busy road, the traffic noise was no problem at night. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of storage for clothes. This apartment is one I will certainly return to.

This is our third visit to Park View.. Our only concern is that the beds are small. I am 6' 5" and our friend is 6' 8" and we found the beds were too small as both are double beds. Apart from that we were very happy with the apartment. Although we will be back to Whitby again next year, the 4 of us will be looking for other accommodation

We loved this holiday, Whitby is so amazing.. There are lots of things to see and do. The atmosphere is lovely and the people are really friendly. There are loads of lovely little shops and cafes. The old smokehouse is great with its traditional smoked kippers, yummy! Pick up a kipper and have a lovely morning stroll onto the beach and eat it straight from the smoker for your breakfast. Also the Humble Pie shop is fantastic with their homemade pie, mash, peas and gravy, delicious

Fantastic flat! Everything what you can ask for is there! Washing machine, dishwasher, iron, full stock kitchen and C.O.O.P next door! 200m from train station, excellent lokation! Will definatly be back there and it will be highly recomended to my friends and family. I'm so glad we pick you!

The flat is ideally situated for the town with easy access to all the amenities.. We completed the form that was made available and the only other comment we mad was that it would be handy if there were 2 sets of keys. There was four of us and we had to agree to meet up, if we 'did our own thing'

We have had a lovely week in a outstanding apartment.. Decor and funrnishing were of a high standard . Location could not have been better . 5 mins walk into the centre . Had no problem finding on street parking 5 mins walk away . Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday .

This flat was a fantastic find.. Great location close to the harbour and overlooking Pannett Park. Really impressed with the decor, cleanliness and how well the flat was equipped. Other people mentioned the road noise and parking but we didn't have any issues with either. Easy free street parking about 2 minutes walk away and both bedrooms were quiet. Would definitely recommend booking this flat and would love to stay again.

The flat we stayed in was just like home from home, anything and everything we wanted/needed was there.. It was very clean and cosy and well situated for the amenities of the town. A wonderful stay.

Stayed here with friends for a long weekend. We were surprised at how lovely the apartment was, very clean and modern inside and spacious too. Communication was good before our visit. Everything you needed for your stay was there, including iron, hairdryer etc & toiletries. It was close to the town centre, just a short walk and next to a lovely park. The only issue was parking but we managed to find a spot in a street just up the road as parking in town was £9 Per day, so please be aware. Would love to return here on our next visit to Whitby, a definite recommendation from all of us!

A beautifully furnished apartment. ...home from home. There is everything you need and very comfortable beds. Impeccably clean and quiet...only 5 minutes from everything. Shops,amenities and restaurants are all good. Didnt have a bad meal anywhere. Highly recommended

A great place for exploring Whitby, close to everything, Jerry very helpful when we arrived re parking for the few days.. Only criticism is there's nowhere to park to unload and load. Will definitely be back.

As a family we would have no hesitation in recommending this well equipped flat.. It's fitted out to a very high standard and no corners have been cut in providing the highest specification of fittings. Comfortable couches, a spacious dining area, fantastic rain shower, big deep bath, a smart TV and a slimline dishwasher all made this feel a real home from home. There were plenty of towels and the visitor information provided was first class, the owners could not have been more helpful. 12 out of 10. .

Park View was a very comfortable 'home from home' holiday residence, which was ideally located a few minutes walk away from all the facilities of the interesting town of Whitby. The property had everything that we could have wished for. A good base from which to explore the North York Moors by car and by foot during the day.

Stayed here from 20th March and found the accommodation to be perfect in all respects. Fantastic level of furnishing and very well equipped kitchen complete with a dishwasher. Location opposite the park is lovely and only 10 minutes from the harbour. Didn't want to leave.
