This pet friendly cottage was beautifully presented, it certainly had the wow factor.. The location was perfect for visiting the beauty spots and attractions of North East Yorkshire. We were however unaware that this cottage had no secure outdoor area when we made our booking.

Lovely , loved ,character cottage .. Our dog could sense the positive atmosphere and was so happy. Excellent location for sight seeing and just short walk to local pubs which are dog friendly and serve food. Locals helpful and friendly. On our list to revisit.

This cottage is wonderful.. Felt so homely . just what we needed . we wanted relaxation and that's what we got . they've thought of everything .it's a very charming place with equistive attention to detail, the books , the art the original features high ceilings etc all add to the charm. The need was comfy. The shutters were bliss to catch up on some sleep. We will be back. Only issue was the washer wasn't working when we arrived which had a note on it.. I'm a lighter traveller clothes wise and tend to use the washer in a cottage .it was not a big deal in the scheme of things. The area is quite .pubs shops etc are a 10 min walk away. Dog walking is good .it's near many attractions to visit. Would highly recommend it.

Londesborough Cottage is a beautiful, cosy cottage ,fully equipped with everything you need and more.. The owners have made every effort to make you feel as if you are staying in a real home, not just a holiday home. We loved that they had put up Christmas decorations, which after arriving in the dark and driving through awful weather, was lovely to come into. Bob and Claire emailed us before arriving at the cottage, with lots of information about the cottage, the area, ie local places to eat and a map in case your sat nav failed, which ours did, so that was very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend the cottage to family and friends, in fact already have, and we are sure we will be returning. Lynn and Paul Treble

Considering this is a pet friendly cottage we were absolutely overjoyed with the standard of presentation.. The decor was superb and tasteful. The overall facilities and utilities were lacking of nothing. We will be returning when hopefully there are no storms forecast. Even so the cottage is well situated in a village with excellent pub grub and proximity to many walks and moors. Thanks to the owners for providing such an "excellent" base to holiday from.

Thank you Claire and Bob, Your cottage is beautiful and your attention to detail meant that we wanted for nothing.. In addition to this, we really enjoyed our stay exploring such an outstanding area of Yorkshire with Percy, our greyhound. Gaynor & Geoff

Very beautiful cottage.. Very well equipped, ideal location with pubs, a shop and garden centre all within walking distance. Loved the map and instructions the owners had left of a local walk around the fields which became my morning walk with the dog. Have already recommended to my parents to book!

Loved the little extras - welcome gift, tea, coffee and milk, logs for the fire.. Also as it was Halloween there were pumpkins at the door!

We found difficulty opening a window, also no egg cups and tin opener u/s.. ..but on the whole excellent cottage ...and would book again ...one point I noticed that there is only one point of exit , the kitchen door is that normal?

Spending a week in this cottage was a sheer pleasure.. It is cosy and exceptionally clean, with everything, and more, you'll need to enjoy your stay, The little touches made by the owners made us, and the dog feel very welcome. The village is quiet and friendly, far away from hustle and bustle, but near enough to visit many sites and attractions. We will not hesitate to book again.

Absolutely loved the cottage and surroundings.. we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the property. the only problem myself and wife experienced was the chesterfield sofas.we found them uncomfortable . the double bed was top notch so comfortable. loved all the extras to many to list. congratulations to Bob and Claire the owners.
