To start off the cottage is really clean and well maintained. We got bacon milk bread when we arrived which is a nice touch. Very comfy beds and hot tub ace!. Bad points Local pub is crap tried dinner terrible also drinks different prices dependent on who's serving. House needs a better hoover the one provided is terrible. But it's a lovely place to stay but travelling by car is essential so crimbo no drink a local shop is needed. Also the internet reception is none existent.

I booked Loft Cottage to provide accommodation for some actors for a short student film project.. Sykes Cottages were really helpful in answering any questions or queries I had, especially when I called to get a few extra copies of the keys so that our actors could come and go as they please. The cottage itself was beautiful and well-presented, and extremely good value.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely village.. We loved the hamper on arrival. The cottage was cosy, warm and had almost everything (had to borrow a can opener, and bought a cheese grater!) Otherwise a lovely place and will go again

Lovely cottage and welcome pack.. The cottage was ideal for 4 adults and 1 child, 5 adults may have been a squeeze for some. Ideal base for exploring North Yorkshire. The lack of wardrobe space may not be ideal for some guests but it really didn't bother any of our party. Would reccomend this property and the others attached. Very helpful people throughout.

This is a beautiful cottage we’re we stayed for a week, it sits in a lovely friendly village with a good pub, cricket on the village green and a little park for children a good field for the dog.. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper with loads of nice items the best I’ve ever seen. The cottage has outside space at the front and a little garden space at the back, we had lovely weather and was able to sit outside. Plenty of lovely villages and town to visit around the area and some good walks. I would’ve hesitate to book again and would certain recommend.
