Le Pergole Volterra, Tuscany

The house and the location are beautiful and absolutely recommendable! Nothing was missing, it was very clean and we felt very comfortable! The private pool was cleaned daily (nightly). The host, Andrea, was always available and quickly on site. He is very nice and accommodating. The short natural path to the house is a lot longer than described, but easy to drive on, even with a lowered car, just dusty;) We'd love to come back!

The house is equipped with everything you need on vacation. There were two of us with two small dogs in the house and we had a wonderful rest. The pool is as described with a fantastic view and is regularly maintained. Andrea took great care of us on site, thanks again for the delicious wine! We will be back definitely.

The location, the large pool and the view of Tuscany were unbeatable. Only the furnishings, especially the kitchen, were poor; so I missed a filter coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave and a pair of scissors.

We had a fantastic holiday at Le Pergole. The garden and pool for private use is beautiful. You are undisturbed there and in the house and can relax wonderfully. The proximity to Volterra is also great, just drive into town for dinner or shopping without having to drive far. A. is a great host, very nice and pleasant and always there when you need him. We will definitely come again!

A significant plus of the building is a large, heated and maintained pool and a nice view. We missed the promised peace and privacy. The frequented, very dusty road right next to the fence and the daily work in the wine warehouse in the immediate neighborhood did not add to the peace either. In the 30-degree heat, it was very difficult to sleep without insect nets. Thanks to the weather, we had a good time there, but we can recommend the stay to rather undemanding clients. The description on the website does not fully correspond to the current state.

Lovely house with a great view.

We spent a fantastic week in September as a couple with our 6 month old son and dog. The pool area is gorgeous and very clean. The landlord is very hospitable and helpful. The house is simply furnished as described but clean and on the whole a very good price-performance ratio. Not necessarily suitable for 4 or more adults, since the privacy is not necessarily given due to the arrangement of the bedrooms and the somewhat small living/dining area. Volterra is a small cozy old town and invites you to stroll. Unfortunately, the given distances are not correct. The nearest supermarket is about 5 km away. Nothing can be reached without a car or a long walk. The unmade path to the house is also significantly more than 200 m. But we would love to come back!
