Wrapped in rolling Chianti hills, this villa is all about the views for us. There’s an abundance of choices to soak up the scenery from – pick between the hot tub, private pool, sun-kissed terrace or as you dine. And, while the outdoor space initially captured our attention, the interiors don’t disappoint. Mixing old with contemporary invites serenity – just mind your head on some of those beautiful old beams. Locally, you can easily reach two of Chianti’s prime wine towns, Radda and Gaiole – so a trip to a vineyard is a must.
Home truths: *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a free cot and high chair upon request.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced and there are open-tread stairs here. If you're bringing children, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
*The third bedroom is on the mezzanine level and semi-open to the space below, so privacy is limited.
*We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – on-site parking is available for two cars here. The access road to the villa is unpaved but even.
