Killary Lodge is a private luxury lodge set among woodland on the edge of Connemara’s majestic Killary Fjord, just outside the scenic village of Leenane. Exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, the lodge offers a spectacular setting for memorable group gatherings surrounded by mountains, sea and unspoilt natural beauty.

EXPERIENCES AT KILLARY

Killary Lodge is part of the wider Killary Adventure Project and guests can enhance their stay with a range of unique outdoor experiences.

Activities available nearby include kayaking on Killary Fjord, guided walks and coastal trails, adventure activities at Killary Adventure Centre and boat trips on the fjord. Guests can also enjoy a Scandinavian shoreline sauna and sea swimming experience overlooking the fjord.

The adventure centre is just a short walk from the lodge, making it easy to add activities to your stay.



THE LODGE

The lodge features a fully equipped kitchen designed for large group dining along with a spacious dining area where everyone can gather for meals together.

A stylish lounge opens onto an extensive outdoor area with seating and two fire pits, offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and sea. It is the perfect place to relax and watch the sun set over the fjord.

Each of the ten spacious ensuite bedrooms is individually designed with bespoke features. For quieter moments guests can curl up with a book in one of the lodge’s cosy reading nooks.

The property also includes a large multi purpose studio space which can be adapted as a conference room, yoga studio or workshop space and opens onto an outdoor workspace.



CATERING OPTIONS

The lodge is fully equipped for self catering, however many groups choose to relax and enjoy catering during their stay.

Catering can be arranged through the award winning Misunderstood Heron, known for its locally sourced food and relaxed dining experiences for groups staying at the lodge.



LOCATION


The lodge is situated in a nature lover’s paradise. Guests can walk to the shoreline of Killary Fjord just a few minutes from the lodge where many enjoy sea swimming and spectacular views across the fjord.

The surrounding area offers numerous walks and hikes through mountains, forests and coastal trails as well as endless cycling routes and nearby sandy beaches. Connemara National Park is located just 15km away.

A €570 post stay cleaning fee applies to all bookings.

A €2000 refundable damage deposit is required and is returned up to 48 hours after departure.
