I Pini Lucca, Tuscany

The pool was locked in the mornings and evenings. If you stay in the apartment all day you can swim, but if you explore the area or visit the sea you "don't manage" to use the pool. We were given a parking space far away in front of a compost pit, although there was space everywhere else. No kitchen towels to dry the dishes, no cleaning cloths, no garbage bags, no wifi, broken shower hose and a very loud lawn tractor when we were eating on the terrace right next to us. 2m!!!

Very friendly staff, the furnishings were quite outdated. The sofa was very old and worn. It felt like you were falling into a hole. The apartment was clean and the pool was also clean and good. WiFi was interrupted very often

The complex is quiet, secluded from Lucca with about 22 units, community pool about 1.6 m deep. Staff hardly speaks English. The apartment: very small, noisy (also to other apartments) air conditioning. (bookable for a fee) the double bed hard as if you had put a chipboard over the mattress. bathroom ok Overall the apartment was clean. Garbage separation desired, but not a single garbage can in the apartment. Each apartment has its own (mini) grill. There is better overall.

Absolutely perfect stay, the accommodation is quaint but very clean and ideal for a weeks stay. Although the location is in the countryside it is perfectly situated for trips to Pisa, Florence and our favourite Lucca. The pool is lovely and very welcome after a day of sightseeing. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly too was a bonus. Overall a perfect break and can’t wait to go back.

No mountain view as stated in listing. Garden no larger than 5 m2, completely surrounded by tall shrubs. Gave locked up feeling. Managers very friendly and willing. Accommodation otherwise good.

Beautiful location, clean pool. The bedrooms are fine. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The sitting room/kitchen is small. Kitchen with dining area and sofa inside. Enjoy breakfast outside every morning. highly recommended

For two people and for our big dog it was perfect: relaxing place. Small, almost familiar

The accommodation is as described, quiet location, almost impossible to do without a car. Apartment very noisy (bedroom faces the neighbors' terrace, walls are very thin). Good equipment in the kitchen, we have had worse accommodations. The mattresses were harder than at home, but you could sleep well. Due to the corona situation, the pool could only be used to a limited extent and there were no loungers by the pool. W-LAN broke down again and again, is due to the missing fiber optic cable.

Except for a very hard, saggy mattress in the double bed everything was good! The location of the residence is great, the operators are very friendly and accommodating.

Small and sparse apartment located on a hill in Tuscany. The location is not near a center, so you are forced to take the car all the time.

Overall everything ok. The complex has its own charm. The rooms are clean, something wobbles here and there. My lawn chair broke when I sat on it (I'm not overweight). Directly in front of our entrance was a large grate from which various smells rose. Pool okay, was maintained. Because of Corona, only 8 guests were allowed to swim at the same time, you could register in advance - not nice, but probably necessary due to the pandemic. Lucca about 20 minutes, beaches about 40 minutes.

Ideally placed to visit part of Tuscany (20 min from Pisa, 45 min from Florence and 1h15 from Siena) The place is calm and relaxing. The swimming pool is very pleasant (the covid period was special but having to reserve the time slots for the swimming pool was good because small group and fewer people in the swimming pool). The only thing missing in the accommodation was the microwave (there was an oven but no dish to cook or reheat. We loved it

Since there was rarely a person from the staff present who could speak English, communication was very difficult and caused some problems. Guests cannot be expected to understand and speak Italian. Or it must be clearly stated in the accommodation description.

The accommodation was just as clean as last time, all the kitchen utensils you need were available, the pool was cleaned every day

Very pleasant residence, quiet, with large swimming pool The points to improve would be the kitchen equipment really the bare minimum for 4 and the very small terrace where it is difficult to have shade for 4 at noon and light for dinner. Really small outdoor table and parasol Central location for visiting Tuscany, but you have to be prepared to drive at least 30 minutes for each visit. Wifi access does not work

To make the stay more pleasant, some addition of the kitchen equipment would be nice. Plus point, the swimming pool! On arrival at the agreed time no one was present and receptionist only spoke Italian.
