Beautiful cottage with amazing views, of your after total relaxation this is perfect, not great for walking, lovely country side all around but all farm land, resorted to walking down very narrow country lanes, nearest village is just over a mile away, with very little going on ! !

Fantastic place to stay! The cottage was like a home from home. We definitely plan to come back again in the future.

The host was lovely, we had milk, eggs, butter, dishwasher tabs etc there when we arrived.. The hot tub was great (although not secluded) so it is a lovely place. However, some things spoiled the week a bit due to expectations not being met with the description. Restricted internet access was not advised in the description of this cottage and I would not have booked it had I been aware. When you go to Wales for a week in March, you know the weather will be mixed so we went looking forward to cosy days and evenings watching Skygo (for the F1) and Netflix. We couldn’t even watch Utube! This was a big deal for us as we both have very busy jobs and this was time to de-stress. The description said there was good broadband. Very disappointed with this and it spoiled the week in what otherwise is a lovely cottage and setting. You also need to make it clear on the site that you CANT walk on the beautiful fields in the pictures. You have to walk for ages along a single track road before getting to a riverside trail to walk the dog, so it was quite restrictive. The heating is also not controllable, which was fine on the chilly evenings as there are blankets but one night, the master bedroom was overheating (27 degrees it said on the controller!) so I couldn’t sleep and couldn’t turn it down. The mattress on the master bed is also past it’s best being a bit hard. These are things to be aware off - if people know of these things, this would be absolutely fine as we still had a lovely week in a a lovely cottage - you just need to ensure people know exactly what they are getting so there are no disappointments. I had my kindle so got lots of reading done, but my husband doesn’t read, so these little things like internet are important - even if it had cost more. However, I would recommend the place, the owner is lovely and it’s a gorgeous setting and very well maintained cottage.

Very quiet secluded location.. With beautiful scenery. Lovely weekend away and we all came away relaxed and refreshed. The barn itself had everything you needed and the hot tub was a real treat. Julia was very friendly and accommodating but also let you have complete privacy.

We had a fabulous time at The Granary! We felt very relaxed, comfortable and at home throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this location to our family and friends. We hope to visit again. Although our accommodation was located in the countryside it was still very easy to visit popular destinations in North Wales, plus the peace and quiet of the countryside was lovely! Thank you so much to Julia and Lee Jones for making our stay perfect!

Loved all of it.. Perfect little cation, very clean, information pack was helpful. Everything worked in the cottage, comfortable. Only thing that bothered us (not a massive issue though!) it would have been nice to be able to alter the heating ourselves. Would reccomend and would love to stay again.

A very enjoyable week with plenty to do within fairly easy reach ie visits to Portmeirion, Snowdon, Caernavon, Mach Loop (and much more) and if you want to go a little further, Ironbridge and the Severn Valley Railway are within fairly easy reach.. The accommodation itself was excellent and much time was spent in the hot tub. We would be very happy to return to The Granary and certainly recommend it to others.

Cottage is a peaceful location with stunning views across the valleys.. We couldn't complement the host enough for being helpful and friendly through out the duration of our stay. Everything you needed for your stay was there. The Wi-Fi was upgraded half way through our stay and it now has great coverage and works alot faster. I would definitely recommend to anyone and would return again.

Lovely stay at the Granary Cottage.. Only two things: hot tub could have been made more private and more kitchen utensils and crockery.

The holiday was fantastic from start to finish, even the occasional rain didn't put us off.. Julie was on hand if we had any queries at any time and was extremely welcoming. The views from this property were breath taking and there was plenty of space for our 2 jack russell terriers to have a good run around - on lead. The hot tub was a great addition and we had an amazing time. We would definitely recommend to others and would love to stay again in the future.

We loved the views/location etc.. Julia was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had plenty of space and the facilities were immaculately kept. The hot tub was clean and not overly chlorinated which made it much more enjoyable than many places we have stayed. Personally I would have liked a slightly better equipped kitchen in terms of nonstick pans/implements etc but everything else was great.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in the Granary cottage for 4 nights.. It is a lovely cottage in a great setting, not too far from Snowdonia and perfect for a peaceful break away. The cottage was clean and tidy and we loved having breakfast and tea on the balcony taking in the great views. The hot tub was a nice addition and again you have great views when in the hot tub which is a bonus! Overall we had a great stay and would not hesitate to book again!

The weekend was for me and my partner for a little break as we arrived Julia was very welcoming.. It was very relaxing and peaceful, the cottage was really clean and cosy. The hot tub was always ready for us from morning till night. There was leaflets left of things to do around the area. We have already recommended it to our friends and family and we will definitely be back! We enjoyed every minute of it!
