We have just returned home from the most wonderful weeks holiday. This cottage is the nicest we have stayed in Cornwall. Warm ,cosy and very comfortable. The owner has thought of everything. Also home made cake and mince pies !! We had the most restful time walking and chilling.we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at The Coach House. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented with thoughtful touches throughout. Plentiful hot water, great pressure shower, good WIFI signal (we streamed Netflix with ease), thoughtful extras like dog bowls and towels. Everything for an easy and luxurious stay. The 8 acres of grounds were beautiful too and there is a driveway around the back of the Coach House to park. (Despite previous reviews, we never had any issues getting in and out of the gate and we have a large estate vehicle). All 3 of us received a warm welcome on arrival from Roger and Ian. We were treated to blackberry jam/fresh flowers from the gardens, tomatoes from the greenhouse, a loaf of fresh bread, Cornish butter and a gorgeous coffee and walnut cake! Roger had even asked what milk we liked so we could have a cup of tea on arrival. There was tea/coffee, toilet paper, and dishwasher tablets to get you going and we arranged a Waitrose delivery for the next day. We cooked every night and had all the pans, and utensils we needed. We even had a roast dinner on a Sunday evening. It was great to have the dishwasher too so we didn’t have to do the washing up! We brought along our dog and she had the time of her life! Situated just a 5-minute walk from Lantivet Bay and the South West Coastal Path, the location is absolutely perfect for those with dogs or those who love to walk. Peace and quiet is very important to us when we are on holiday and The Coach House gave us this in spades. The grounds are next to a very quiet country lane and other than the odd car going past during the day, it was extremely peaceful. So quiet in fact that we heard an owl as we were falling asleep! It was the perfect holiday for us, and the cherry on top was what wonderful hosts Roger and Ian were. We knew they were just a text away but they never intruded on us and left us to it. Thank you both for the most wonderful holiday! We will be back! Carley, Matt, and Taylor the dog

Not luxurious but very, very high standard. Set in 8 acres of formal and informal gardens, orchard, veg plot trees. So relaxing.^ Rusty JR/BT cross loved it too. Roger (the owner) lives on site he is very attentive but in no way intrusive. On arrival there was tea, coffee, bread and milk plus lemon drizzel cake to die for which wad made by Roger. There is a gorgeous private garden with lilly pond for excusive use of guests. Pendower house is situated on quite busy narrow lane with passing places. We will definately return.

We have stayed in some beautiful places but this was simply one of the best. Beautiful interior and equipped to perfection. Roger was the perfect landlord- available when we wanted advice on the best restaurants etc but left us to enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful part of Cornwall. We had great weather and most days stayed in and around the beautiful grounds of Pendower House which has an historic and stunning garden. Our dog Barney loved his morning runs across the meadows that are part of the property and we had a lovely private bit of garden to ourselves. The nicest part was arriving after a long journey and being greeted by a lovely welcome box which included strawberries clotted cream and a freshly baked cake as well as the basic of tea coffee sugar and milk. There were also fresh flowers from the garden. We want to come back next spring . We can only assume the first reviewer picked the wrong week as we certainly had a lot of rest! For self catering accommodation this certainly takes some beating.

Beautiful coach house with beautiful antiques. However take your own dish washer tabs, washing powder and bin liners. Host does not provide these. Host house is right next door and the week we were on our hopeful relaxing break - he had the workers in renovating his kitchen. Moved his Aga so no water for us for 2 hours and he thought it was ok to have a carpenter working on the drive next to our patio. When we complained he ignored us for the rest of the week and evidently had no respect for our privacy on what was a break from DIY for us. Workmen coming and going all week! Garden is also not enclosed main gate always open so couldn’t let the dog out to roam the garden in case he ran on the road. Left feeling like we needed a holiday.

Beautiful cottage in a truly picturesque setting with beautiful gardens and grounds.. Plenty of room for our dog to run around. The owner Roger couldn’t have been more helpful. It felt like a home from home the minute we walked in the door. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Elaine and Lewis and Mabel

The property was furnished and maintained to an extremely high standard.. Roger, the owner, clearly takes great pride and pleasure in ensuring his guests are cared for.
